Dale Fincher first fell in love with New Hampshire at summer camp in 1983. After many summers as a camper and a counselor, Dale rose to become the director of programs.

Dale has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, often donating his time to serve larger goals. Gifted as a visionary and mediator, in 2010 he co-founded the financial firm, i3 Inc., an investment firm with an emphasis on building family financial legacies. Dale also served for a decade on a multimillion-dollar philanthropic foundation supporting public needs from museums to education, sports, and camps.

With graduate degrees in both speech communications and philosophy and ethics, he married a schoolteacher, Jonalyn, from Los Angeles, where they lived for five years. In Los Angeles, Dale witnessed the unchecked harm caused by high taxes, urban expansion, overregulation and congestion.

As a husband-wife team, Dale and his wife launched a career in international Christian nonprofit work, speaking to tens of thousands across four continents, founding their own non-profit, Soulation, Inc. They coached and educated American students and churches to build and defend the most important ideas of life and helped many overcome the problems of abuse in religion. In 20 years in nonprofit work, Dale also founded Soulation Press, led two writing teams, pastored an online abuse-recovery community, led retreats for college students and adults out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and authored several books.

In 2018, Dale stepped back from public work and began the move to New Hampshire, the state he had always loved. In 2023, Dale’s new goal centered around fulfilling the Fincher family dream of sailing the world. Captaining their catamaran across the Atlantic Ocean with his wife and two sons, Dale navigated from South Africa to the Chesapeake Bay.

After that season at sea, Dale is ready to serve again as a team player, an insightful visionary and a mediator in this fractious time of political polarization.

Married to Jonalyn, a local fine artist, for 22 years, Dale is devoted to serving the towns of Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro and Ossipee’s unique needs. His goal as state representative is to lower the vitriolic temperature, find consensus, and drive solutions with common sense.
